The guy was at one time the most dynamic closer in all of baseball, no doubt. He was sporting a 96+ fastball and a slider that almost broke hitters knees. Now all he has is a 90-93 MPH flat fastball and a slider that even he doesn't know where it is going half the time. It would be one thing if he could have the slider working consistently, but now hitters just let any pitch that has movement on it by and sit on the fastball. Yes, Adam he is on track to break the records and is on the best team in baseball, but every time the guy comes in for some reason the has to get too close to the edge of loosing it. I cant remember the last time he came into a game and shut it down 1, 2, 3 the way a closer should do.
Since 2005, the guy has 19 blown saves compared to 177 saves. You really can't argue with that kind of production. I wonder how many teams in baseball would like to have a guy that "sucks" as bad as KRod. Wait 'til next year when Arredondo is your closer. Then tell me you don't miss Frankie.
You can throw all the stats you want at me. I hate the guy, I don’t trust him, and I don’t like him pitching for my team. I hope he asks for more than $15 million then the Halos can send him elsewhere to dish out heart attacks, walks, and wild pitches with 1 run leads, plus all those plain shitty pitches that I have no idea how he is not being hit, hard.

Isn't he on record pace for saves this season? Doesn't this team have the best record in baseball? Get over yourself, you spoiled Angels fan.

And he's back!

Like Adam said, get over yourself!
